The Work and Health Programme is an employment support programme which was launched in North West England and Wales in November 2017. The programme will roll out across the rest of England during early 2018.

Blog: The Work and Health Programme While the media focused on the Government’s U-turn on tax credits, few may have noticed that tucked away in the detail of the Spending Review was an announcement that the Work Programme and Work Choice are to be combined into a single Work & Health Programme from 2017.
The news follows the previous announcement of contract winners for Fair Start Scotland, the equivalent devolved work and health initiative in Scotland. The outcomes of the co-commissioned Work & Health Programme contracts in Manchester and London are also expected to be announced shortly.
